Who we are
Salewise is a trading name operating from London, United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@salewise.co.uk.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The service described on this site
This website describes the Salewise product: a QR-first AI sales assistant for physical retail. Descriptions, metrics and screenshots are provided for evaluation.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Fees, scope, service levels and data terms for a paid deployment are agreed in a signed order form.
Accounts and access
Sage, the operator console, uses separate email and password accounts. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your account.
You must tell us promptly if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
- Access is granted to the named account holder and authorised colleagues.
- Do not share accounts or attempt to access another merchant's data.
- We may suspend access to protect the service, investigate misuse or comply with law.
Merchant responsibilities
The merchant remains responsible for the catalogue, prices, stock, offers, policies and handover rules the agent uses. The agent reports what the catalogue says; it does not audit the catalogue.
The merchant must configure handover points for anything that requires human judgement, regulated advice or a clinical decision.
- Keep product, price, stock and return information accurate and lawfully publishable.
- Do not use the service to give medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice.
- Do not use it to make misleading claims, sell restricted goods to ineligible shoppers, or circumvent age checks.
- Ensure you have the rights to use any logo, image or text you upload to the QR designer.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website or the service. That includes attempting to bypass authentication, scrape another merchant's data, introduce malicious code, disrupt availability, or use the service to break the law.
We may investigate and suspend access where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.
Fees and taxes
The website lists £79 per location per month (£948 per location per year). That is a list price for evaluation, not a quotation.
The fees, billing period, taxes and any integration scope for your deployment are set out in your order form. The subscription is the only fee; no commission is charged.
Intellectual property
Salewise and its licensors own the software, design system, documentation and brand. The merchant owns its catalogue, product data, logos and conversation content.
The merchant grants Salewise a limited licence to process that content to provide the service. We do not acquire ownership of it.
If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the product without obligation.
Data protection
Where Salewise processes personal data on a merchant's behalf, the parties act under a data processing agreement. The merchant determines the purpose of shopper conversations; Salewise processes them on documented instructions.
Our privacy notice explains what this website collects and how to exercise your rights.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available, but this website does not promise a service level. Any availability commitment, support window or credit is agreed in the order form.
The agent may be unavailable during maintenance or provider outages. When the model is unavailable, the assistant reports that it cannot answer rather than replying from a fallback.
AI outputs and no warranty of accuracy
The service uses retrieval and a large-language model. We design the system so the model selects from retrieved catalogue items and the server renders price and stock. That reduces invention; it does not make any AI system error-free.
Merchant review, catalogue quality and handover rules remain part of a safe deployment. The merchant is responsible for decisions it takes on the basis of the service.
Phrases such as “no hallucinations by design” describe the architecture. They are not a warranty of perfect accuracy or a guarantee of sales.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of data arising from use of this website. Any liability cap for the paid service is set in the order form.
Termination
You may stop using this website at any time. Paid subscriptions terminate in accordance with the order form.
We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if continuing would create a security or legal risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Material changes affecting a paid deployment are handled under the order form.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you another forum.
